Be afraid ... be very afraid ...

Airport says the sky's the limit

It refers to QF giving up its lease in T2 in 2018. But isn't the airline exiting that terminal fairly soon?

Can you imagine the construction chaos and plane movement constraints over years as they try to make Dom and Int each into dual use!

Jetrats is part of the QF group.
Sometime references to QF means Qantas and others it does not !

Jetstar will remain in T2. What I read was giving up the lease on T3 early.

Sounds like airlines just need to keep 747's to stymie the master plan.

The plan assumes that newer, quieter aircraft such as the A380 will replace 747s by 2033. As a result, its forecast aircraft noise footprint will be similar to that of 2011.

The redesigned road network at T2/T3 appears to go straight through where a hangar is located on Google Maps, or is that the one that was removed that I see people talking about?

I had a stickybeak there today. Its a 1 lane road, but easy to widen I'd reckon.
