I am a bit worried about check in closed. It’s a bit odd that the EK departs at 6am because the curfew finish after 6am. I prefer to be at the check in at about early 430am. I’m surprised that there are other services (such as Custom and security) that don’t open until 4am.
0230 - Terminal opens
0300 - Emirates checkin opens (0600 departure) - can anyone confirm that it opens at 3am?
When does the checkin close? EK tix said 1 hr 30 mins closes before departure? Hope that EK will keep open a little bit late.
0400 - Customs opens
0530 - Boarding commences (estimate)
I also have looked at the hotels that are closer to the airport. Unfortately, all the hotels’ shuttle bus open at 4am. I think that most pax will arrive at the airport at about 430am. It’s too tight for them before the check in close! I know that there are two hotels- Rydges hotel and Aerotel which is next to Terminal 1 but it’s very $$. Aerotel is fully booked.
What would you do?
Arrive at outside T1 at 11pm and stay until 230am?
Are they other factors I should consider?
