With the potential loss of South Africa to the NH (international’s) comp. maybe a rethink is in order. That said I understand there is some opposition to the idea.

Unlike the NRL and A-League they can't just base the NZ team in Aus

Maybe they defer all games for 14 days and bring all Super Teams to New Zealand - and play from there?

OK, not really - perhaps they move all teams together to each of the countries (aside from that of the Sunwolves) and after a two week break play compressed fixtures.

Lots of things are possible ...

With the full 2020 Super Rugby competition cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Australian-only and New Zealand-only competitions are being run as a replacement.

New Zealand’s Super Rugby Aotearoa will run for 12 weeks, including finals, from July 3, and will feature the five Kiwi teams: the Crusaders, Blues, Hurricanes, Chiefs and Highlanders.

Rugby Australia is running a domestic competition as Super Rugby AU – which runs from July 3 and uses the same format.

Super Rugby AU will have the four Australian Super Rugby franchises – the Waratahs, Reds, Brumbies and Rebels – as well as the Western Force.

We can look into running a tipping competition for those; better to wait to see if it become available on the Footy Tipping .com web site

Otherwise, lets crown this year's Champion, @GPH as the 2020 winner!
