Qantas first class lounge Sydney Melbourne summer 2015-2016 menu - Australian Business Traveller

I couldn't see this covered elsewhere, I might be missing something.

Breakfast PDF Menu:

All day dining PDF Menu:

Looking forward to working my way through the all day dining menu next week on my first ever visit to the SYD FLounge!

Ta for that.
I was meaning to search up for my upcoming (breakfast) QF MEL F lounge visit.
Bread and eggs, ... my EK with a QF flight number leaves at about 7.30am for AKL.

Thanks for posting. Looks a bit better than the spring menu, but the proof will be in the eating!

Can't say the US/AA celebration looks great. As long as they don't serve the awful hot dogs that you get at the LAX lounge it might be ok though. And points for something different.

Nothing new for breakfast best I can tell.

Look forward to (genuine) reviews and will be sampling it soon myself!

Agree the 'American' options don't look quite right next to the other cleaner flavours available- though I've heard good things about the burger project so maybe they're decent.

I will be happy to give an opinion and take some non promo shots next week :)

The champagne list seems to be gradually nose-diving.

Agreed. Pretty average for a F lounge.
Have seen similar in J lounges.

0810. Will board at some point around, but possibly later than, 0730.

also be aware AP that it's a breakfast flight in F and you may well want to double check the EK menu for EK406 on the emirates website to see the options so you don't double up on food(if you intend to eat on board that is)

btw I notice that somehow the breakfast menu has VC Brut as a champ, but it's not listed on the all day menu. huh?

I'm not a big champagne drinker and a real novice when it comes to good brands, but this is the impression I've had as well. What opened my eyes (ears?) on this as much as anything was overhearing wait staff in the MEL F lounge a few months ago talking about what champagne would be "pushed" that evening - the answer was pretty blunt - "we're getting more of the cheaper Taittinger in soon so that's what we need to serve". Made me re-think my quite often used "what would you recommend?' request tostaff when I am not an expert! (That's not just a QF F lounge thing, of course).

Noted.
Aye, good point, as that EK with a QF flight will be full (lunch) ... but will take a light brekkie in the QF MEL F lounge then.
BA seems no longer to provide an F service from SYD - SIN from my lookaround Apr/Jul school holidays, unless those are sold out first.
Due to my work, school holidays and long weekends are my time. None of these fluffs are paid by my "employer".

No F for the BA flight, means no lunch in the QF SYD F lounge visits.

Nothing new on the breakfast menu is going to get me away from the Sweet Corn Fritters (with a couple of soft poached eggs on the side)......

There'd be a riot if they ever take them away!

BA16 operates SYDSIN daily during those periods and has an F cabin.

OT but....

er no. As I said, EK406 MEL-AKL which you are taking (with a QF flight number, QF8771 or whatever it is) is a BREAKFAST service, not lunch - despite arriving just after lunch time in AKL (sched 1345). I just flew the flight 2 weeks ago.

What about the "secret" dish - the egg and bacon roll(I htink) - whatever it is. I forgot to try it last time. maybe later this month :)

Agreed. Surely only a hobbit could face first and second breakfasts?

That was a straight cut and paste from the EK website.
Ah, see so they count the EK406 (MEL - AKL) as a breakfast service, thought it was counted as a lunch flight.
Wait and see I guess, not that long, 23 days to go.
O, thanks RichardMEL.

The champagne list seems to be gradually nose-diving.

That was my first thought.

Second thought: burgers and fried chicken for the AA partnership?? Somewhat akin to AA serving (gourmet) meat pies in the Flagship Lounge?

Third thought: can't wait to get myself some of that quinoa salad and stir fried chicken breast!

No longer a secret - it's on the menu.
