Suggestions for hotels [Nashville]

Well thanks to all the good advice i got about my connections to Nashville via LAX i now have that sorted. My next question is has anyone got a suggestion for a reasonably priced hotel (up to $100 US) in the down town area of Nashville. Thought down town would be good if wanting to walk to some things, but as i have never been here before some advice would be appreciated

Although I can't comment on any actual hotels, I would recommend using Hotwire. Just pick the most stars you can afford in the part of town you are after. The savings are almost too good to be true.
The first booking feels a little scary - not knowing the name of the hotel - but once thats done you will be a convert (like me).

Well i have returned. We stayed at the Maxwell House Millenium hotel and booked through hotels.com. The best price and very easy to use. Hotel was great and the free shuttle service much appreciated. New A380 Qantas was good too. Service brilliant

Glad to be of assistance, if you go to are going down to Chattanooga, stay at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Inn, it was great also.

downtown nashville was great, head into the bars to listen to the honky tonky live bands, a great experience!

Also, Chattanooga is a dive! apart from the Choo Choo trains, its a hole!

Try the Best Western, they pretty much have propeties in any cities in US...

I've tried a few in SF, LA and SD and they quality are very good, and rates are reasonable. It's of different quality than those in Australia, where most of them are quite run down.
