Myself and Mrs Spud have decided to blow some points (450k available) before the March deadline. About the only criteria are, start/end PER, must leave after Sept 2016, strongly prefer F to J
I don't need exact flights just some routes and destinations.

Thanks Spud

CX to HKG
QF to SIN (or BNE/SYD/MEL/AKL)
EY to AUH
MH to KUL

From each of these, you can go onto just about anywhere else in the world.

Has anyone redeemed Emirates F out of Perth? That would be perfect

Not an AA partner airline... F looks unlikely if you want to price it as one award.

To add to the potential options ex-perth - QR to DOH is another option - with a great J product

The QR J product is comparable to some F products IMHO.

It will cost the same miles to fly from PER via SYD or MEL but would give you F options to LHR on BA (SIN or HND/NRT) and JL or QF/BA via PVG and of course CX (HKG). Not forgetting choices on QR and EY!

Then I guess my next question is has anyone redeemed QR J with AAdvantage points?

I did back in USDM days. Echo the comments about QR J being F-like.

However only QF (I believe) can stopover in ME en route to Europe on AA awards without charging for the extra zone.

I also did same as exceladdict, redeemed USDM/AA in J on QR DOH/PER, fantastic seat and service must say.

We had a 20hour layover in Doha after departing on QR out of CDG, found out at the check in bags had to go to final destination PER, tried with supervisor still said no, lucky we had spare clothes and toiletry items in our carry on.
