Student sues airline for $1,000,000 over lost Xbox 360

The passengers aboard the flight which landed in the Hudson River were compensated $5,000 each for their damages, one individual feels his Xbox is worth more.

A 21 year old student from Yale University is suing US Airways for $US1 million ($1.53 million) on the grounds that he believes an Xbox 360 game console was taken from his checked luggage during a December flight from New Haven, Connecticut, to Cincinnati, Ohio.

Don't like his chances getting much above the liabaility allowed for checked-in luggage.

What a muppet. "Oh my XBox360 is soooooo special it's worth $1m. I'm emotionally scarred now that I have lost all of my saved games and console modifications of dubious legality."

Three words. Get. A. Life.

A serious contender for the "Must get out more" awards.

Wow! I would just give the child a new Xbox and tell him to go away. Why are we wasting precious court resources on this sort of rubbish?
