Strategy to obtain US Amex

I am all setup with a US bank account and a secured card from BoFA which I have been using for the last 5 months. Unfortunately, Amex AU has auto rejected me today. I am guessing it is based on past churns. I will probably wait another year or so to re-apply again without closing any other accounts.

I am guessing Amex is the only card provider that will support Global Transfer.
Also, does being a secondary card holder on my +1's account help at all for GT?

The other option is to wait for the FICO score from BoFA to come through or apply for an ITIN.

At this, stage, I need to be in the "Strategy to obtain an AU Amex" thread :D
With the exception for HSBC US Premier/Elite, you’ll need the ITIN as well to be able to apply for US cards without Amex GT (including applying directly to Amex). Aside from HSBC, I am not aware of any who will allow you to apply for a card online without an ITIN (you might have better luck in person). You’ll also want to link your ITIN to BOFA.

HSBC premier will allow without an itin
If speed is of the essence, go with the $40-ish Fedex service. I have used the $20-ish one once, it was ok, took a week but tracking wasn't as good iirc. I ordered a specific calendar from a conservation charity in the USA which I will be having PE forward to me when it arrives, will probably go with $20 service.
Thanks . FedEx takes around 3-4 days ?
