Strategy to obtain US Amex

Can take up to 10 business days in my experience.
Still no card received. Called up Chase and asked options as I felt a new card delivered to myUS may be another 1-2 weeks and then further postage times to Aus. Initially told 30 days for international shipping, requested expedited and they managed to confirm 7 days shipped to Aus.

good outcome - wasnt too hard to request to Aust then - great to know - people adding DP that works
Original card will probably turn up today - MYUS experience was poor - I moved to USGM as they were very slow with post - seem more set up as a mail forwarder and not that great with letters

Called back on the CSP application on the recon line and they wanted DOB validation and proof of physical address. AU Passport seemed to be acceptable, just not sure of the physical address validation as the US Amex statement was the only one that I have. Here's hoping...

good luck - really need to get at least a bank account with your address - lots of options available if you search the thread

I received an email from Chase, outlining what are acceptable documents. I’m applying for my first card with Chase and have no existing relationship with them.

The hurdle for me is physical address. Checking/bank account statements are not listed.

No luck with Sofi so perhaps I will give Alliant Credit Union a go. All my payments are through WISE at the moment but changing the address will be a hassle
No luck with Alliant .
With ally one cannot got past the selection of tax residence . Clicking the next button does not do anything .
Anyone have any tips ?

I have Amex Gold card, but I haven't use any of benefits yet, I just keep this card for points transfer from Au to US.
anyone here use any of benefits?
I use some of them. Resy credits - buy gift cards at restaurants for myself or for friends. Dunkin’ credits - add them to my Dunkin account or give them to friends.

Practically impossible to use the others from Australia though.
