Strategy to obtain US Amex

Anyone know how long it takes for Chase to produce and deliver the Business cards? Approved 25/09 and still nothing in my myUS suite.. My first personal card came through within a week

Got the CSP application is being reviewed notification from Chase. No certain time frame (7-10 days is sometimes what people get). Should I wait for a few days then call them back?

Chase seems so strict on proof of address. Something that I haven’t been able to get around, even using checking account and credit/charge card statements.

They keep saying fraud for some reason. I’m using an ITIN which should have been okay.
Keep calling and asking what the issue is - most of the will say they cant let you know what it is and a letter will come (that just says someone applied and they think its fraud so present to branch and all will be good) but may have someone who helps you. It will be something like
- your ITIN address is different to your mailing even though you are using a bank account as mailin
- your bank account has ST instead of STREET and need to manually adjust it
Hopefully HUCA till someone helps

I found both successful fraud calls for me have been at 8AM ET when they open

Chase keeps emailing me this offer but I have 0 chance of spending $6000 USD in 3 months - Ink Unlimited and I already have one.
I'm actually targeting the Barclays Hawaiian card next, $2500 is doable. Just trying to time it right as I got the AAviator 2 months ago which only needs the annual fee and one transaction. Not sure about Barclays version of 5/24. Plus I only got $1000 credit limit on the AAviator, I need more than that to do that spend in 3 months.

I just saw this video. Whilst I don’t think we should all take ourselves in hand and head for the hills, I think Chase is just as prone as C1 and others to shut down accounts with no explanation. The video includes some behaviours which we as customers think are innocent enough but Chase’s algorithms may see otherwise.

YMMV

I didn't watch the whole thing but the first few things are well known triggers for shut down. E.g. credit cycling.

C1 on the other hand has no real triggers known to us.

This is a good breakdown on the Chase shutdown risks:

Have you already explored the 175k NLL offers? Card has the potential to pay off for itself if you are travelling and booking hotels with the $600 hotel credit.
I got the card back in sep just before the AF increase, used the Resy credit to buy a egiftcard for $100. I'm not sure when I'll be able to use it as I don't see myself travelling to US before 2027, but unlike AU, US gift cards don't expire only risk being that restaurant still being in biz.
Then i bought the Lulu physical card towards end of sep and have it sitting at myus.
Have ordered the 2nd one couple of days ago to use this quarters credit with the idea I'll consolidate them into one package and have them shipped here and use it someday. So won't be able to get the full US$150 value as it will cost shipping and maybe storage fees, but hoping to derive some value.
I plan to do the same during Mar & Apr next year if this one works well.
And then there is the $200 airline incidental credit which can be used in some creative ways.
I don't value priority pass much just because of the quality these days, we either prefer eating in standalone restaurants or prefer the airline lounge if available and its also a benefit which I have on couple of cards.
This card also earns 5X when buying GC from Qantas Marketplace.
Hope it helps.

Thanks for the detail. I recently upgraded green to plat and I am exploring ways to use the credits.

Good to know that restaurant credits don't expire. Is that the same for all gift cards?

You mentioned getting lululemon gift cards shipped to Aus. Will you be able to spend them in Lululemon here?

I was tempted to buy something from Lululemon in Australia to see if it triggers the credit with the backup of just returning the item if it doesn't trigger.

I have Amex Gold card, but I haven't use any of benefits yet, I just keep this card for points transfer from Au to US.
anyone here use any of benefits?

I signed up to Disney + using a USA VPN and Amex Plat. You are able to login in Aus. Assuming this will trigger the credit. Ill update later.
