Strategy to obtain US Amex

I have always been conservative and put small amounts
Business under 1 year
Business Income under 25K per year
Monthly spend 1-2K per month
No employee

This has been for my Amex business cards and don’t have Chase Ink yet but will put small numbers when I apply (only for CSP 2 months ago so waiting a bit more before applying for Ink)

From my reading and DP from others the income you put I have heard keep it under the 100K seems to be a sweet spot

Edit - my understanding- I think the credit limit is linked more to score and history rather than income numbers - especially with first card - maybe by the time you get to 4th Ink the income and business numbers may mean more

What type of business did you select?

I always put computer sales - small second hand buy and sell
Just tried applying for the CIBP. Automatic denial with below wording..

"We’re unable to approve your application. You'll receive a letter with more information about our decision within 7 to 10 days."

I put in engineering services as business type (as its close to what I actually do) 2k monthly spend, 24k annual revenue.

Any thoughts or advice, I assume I can try reconsideration?

Reconsideration - I think it’s almost mandatory with Chase - calling till get approved
