Revolut doesn’t provide us bank account, Wise does and supports direct debit, so Wise is the best option if you don’t have a US bank account.

After 26 days from Sending it out through MyUS.

If I can recall PP have stopped issuing physical cards and moved everything onto the app. But that's how we would do it anyway since in the past PP cards would be send by standard post and generally not be accepted by MyUS (it did once reach my MyUS account but they wanted me to provide the "sellers details and invoice" for it which was non existent).

I've just received my ITIN and I'm wondering whether anyone has successfully managed to get an HIlton Amex Business card without need to provide address verification through utility statements etc. I don't believe approval is possible using GT and without an ITIN however now I have an ITIN I'm hoping they can verify me with the personal Amex cards I have.

Get person who did your ITIN to setup a LLC then you can open a business checking account & then obtain US business credit cards.

Well... a regular envelope with the Hilton No Annual Fee card actually went through myUS. That caught me by surprise. I'm also using the standard version of myUS. $80 or so bucks for a small DHL package is steep but I know it will be fast.

You can add additional names through MyUS for a fee of $25 per additional name. Hilton Surpass is usually sent by usps so it probably won't get to your MyUS suite however looking at the post above http_x92 received the no annual fee Hilton through MyUS which is also usps. I was able to get the surpass sent to me in OZ by calling them 10 days after it was sent (and not received by MyUS). They expedited to my OZ address at no cost but must wait 10 days before they will do this.

How about just getting one of the Certified Acceptance Agents mentioned upthread to submit your ITIN application and no investments/property/income in the US necessary to apply.

Good point, I might do that later, just thought it might be a free way to get an ITIN!

I am surprised HSBC US even bothered sending me a tax form for $1.

Which warehouse/courier company did you pick it up from?

According to Daipost, my card was handed over to another 'partner carrier' in Sydney two days ago! I can't work out which company has it now, the Fedex Intl Connect tracking page has a spot for Local Tracking Number which is currently blank.

I have an Hilton Biz with SSN and my mates home address. I was not asked for a utility bill under my name. "I think" once you are their customer for a card for sometime, no qts are asked. I have 3 Biz cards with Amex (Plat Charg, Hilton and Marriott).

I went with the Hilton Aspire card but have still not received it. Fedex International Connect has turned into quite the mistake.

The last scan on both Fedex and DAI Post tracking numbers is still "handed over to Partner Carrier" in Sydney exactly a week ago today. I attempted to contact DAI Post several times by phone, their queuing system will only keep you on hold for 30 minutes before ending the call with a message basically saying "we are too busy right now, try again later". After multiple attempts to get through I finally got a hold of someone from DAI yesterday.

DAI claimed to have sent the package to their partner carrier HGR Logistics, but "as it hasn't been scanned yet it must still be on a pallet waiting unloading". DAI said they'd lodge an enquiry with HGR, and it made it sound like they are an entirely separate entity - but the HGR tracking page has a DAI Post logo at the bottom, and the HGR Logistics phone number is answered as DAI Post! It looks like they are the same company but operate the final mile delivery under a different brand for plausible deniability on lost/delayed packages...

So I contacted MyUS via Whatsapp who were very unhelpful. They wiped their hands clean saying I needed to deal with DAI and that I should have picked another shipping option MyUS have also extended the package transit estimates for Fedex International Connect to 10-20 days (from memory this was 8-16 days before?)



I then logged a support request with Fedex Cross Border (email to [email protected]), they responded overnight..

I have now raised an investigation to find out where your parcel is, but kindly note that the results of this query will be passed on to your retailer once received.

..which prompted a follow-up email from MyUS a few hours later:

The carrier has advised that they will be investigating with their delivery partner and will followup. Thank you for your patience:

I can see that their package was dispatched on 02/11/2022, but there have been no updates since 02/24/2022

I have raised an investigation with the delivery partner and will forward the results of this to you once received.

Well I have had a FICO score for about 4 or months now and two personal Amex Hilton cards via GT method over 13 months but as I've just received my ITIN it's not "attached" or associated with these cards yet so not sure if a business card application using ITIN for first time would require further verification. Maybe I'll just apply and see what happens.

From what I know you can’t change your home address to a foreign one on Amex. They can send you a replacement card etc abroad but not make a permanent address change

Warning: for those who plan to apply a US card and change the address to Aussie address, I got the Citi card and my card was hacked last time. I called and asked them to change my address to the Aussie address and had the replacement card shipped to here in 3 days by DHL. However, I forgot to change it back to the US address, and my card has been closed without warning or notifications. I only figured it out when I couldn’t use the card. I called them again and explained the situation and asked them to reinstate the card but they said that I need to re-apply, can’t reinstate. I also lost all the thankyou points (about 34,000 points). Lesson learned.

My understanding is that for address changes outside of the US, you would need to phone, and not through the on-line account.

The quote from tlam is somewhere upthread. Although it refers to a US Citi card, it may be something to keep in mind for Amex.
