In this case would they offer some passengers or even accept a request for the option to transfer to QF50 or QF142 at Auckland to reduce the delay to people going to Sydney? Or would it be a refuel with no one getting off the plane in Auckland?
Its a top up stop, the 744 cannot do the flight without it compared to the normal ER that operates the route.
I realise it's a stop for fuel, but would they go into the terminal while they refuel and if so would they allow Sydney passengers a direct flight from Auckland?
During these refuelling stops when all pax cannot leave aircraft, can J go into full recline/lie flat? Arrival into AKL would have been before sunrise.
There is talk about gate to gate active IFE and lie flat J but apparently not approved yet?
i believe J pax can recline whatever they one, but seat belts must not be fastened when the aircraft is refueling. Likewise for W and Y pax. Other than that the normal procedure applies.
