Hi all. A question that I hope someone can answer please. I want to make a reward booking from Syd to London using Qatar. When I search there is a combination that works ie QR909 to Doha then QR131 to LHR. my question is - is there a way to book it so that I can have a couple of days in Doha? That is instead of a 2 hour interconnect can I make it a 48 hour interconnect? Thanks in advance

As TV points out, stopovers aren't permitted at the 'trhough fare' on Qantas awards. You'll have to pay the component pricing.

Sometimes this doesn't matter - for example if you're already switching between airlines in different award tables. But if sticking to the one airline, you can stay a max 24 hours before the sector pricing kicks in.

yes the 24 hour rule applies & if one min over 24 hours bad luck as it's controlled by computer.
