It's owned by an AFFer I have known for a long time. Most people I have spoken with highly recommend it.

It's a great service I use it every day ;-)

If you have any questions on the product please shoot me a pm I'm always happy to assist.

trippin_the_rift, wish I could say the same about my experience over the past couple of months as a premium member. Sent feedback (couple of weeks ago) via the tool, an email and a PM to yourself and yet to get any feedback from anyone

And I must be doing something quite silly, as I receive regular messages from StayAngel but clicking on the link to activate always takes me to an announcement that the service will be launching soon. Admittedly, I've not yet upgraded my membership from the basic level - but should that be the situation? Competing demands have meant that I've not spent any time pursuing it, as yet. :)

I used it for a while (first as a trial which included free membership at a higher level, then paid for the premium service). Was primarily for Hilton.

I had a large number of stays which I had booked well in advance. It was very useful in just giving an automatic reminder about the bookings, and I did save some money by being notified when sales were on or prices dropped. I also would have saved big time had I acted on one alert sooner - totally my fault, got the alert in time, saw it, but didn't book a change for 2 days and when I went to do it it had gone.

Of course, you can manually do much of this yourself, if you have time and patience to check regularly.

My membership has lapsed but in the main its because I don't have a large number of bookings too far in advance.

There were quite a few problems with phantom bookings, false alerts, bookings not showing. I put these down to teething problems so wouldn't hold that against the service. Has been about 6 months sice I have used it. Am very grateful for being able to get in on the trial.

I would recommend it for someone who has several bookings, or is looking at multiple hotels/locations/room types for a certain stay (and cancelling all but one) - as it would sure help manage keeping track of that.

agree with you. I was also fortunate to me part of the trial/beta and had the options as a premium member. During the trial period, I also had few bookings and it worked really well. On time notifications of best rate, email notification of upgrades, accurate price monitors and the list goes on. As the service went live, unfortunately my travel patterns changed and I stuck on the free membership. Recently patterns changed and I thought of upgrading back to the premium membership but have realised that my manual searches (although painful) were providing me cheaper rates. Just disappointed with the lack of response from StayAngel when I see trippin_the_rift posting elsewhere but not responding my PM or email.

great idea and it will definitely help punters get better rates. for me - nothing so far with Hilton

I've got your message sitting here and have read and understand what you're saying. I should have replied in acknowledgement but have been thinking why this would be occurring for you as it's definitely not normal (as you would know).

I'm in the remoteness of nowhere with little more than a few apps on my phone and will attend to these issues as soon as I'm back in the office. I've also sent you a quick pm which may be useful too :)
