Mrs Fursten completed Plat chalenge in March we now are travelling end March D class around world.

QF SIN -MEL
Can someone provide a calculation of miles she will accumulate (she has 30k from first trip) and will their be a status change to PLAT EXEC during this trip and if so where would it occur?
If status change does occur when will it expire.
I am also travelling but as QF gold.

How many qpoints accrued so far?

Great Circle Mapper gives an appox of actual miles... from there, depending on your status/class of travel - you can adjust earning based on your program of choice.

she has accumulated 30000 miles and 19000 qualifying miles. trip starts end August not March as in original post.

In her AA summary there should be eligible qualifying miles,EQM,and eligible qualifying points,EQP.To get to EXP you need 100000 EQM or EQP.On your proposed itinerary you would earn 28898 EQM,43347 EQP in D.
So on the figures you give would not quite requalify for Plat on EQM but if she also has 19000 EQP then would requalify for Plat until Feb 2009.Still a considerable way short of EXP though.
