OK so on May 20 I took some internal USA flights which bumped me up to platinum status. The following day I had another 3 internal flights which accrued 90 SCs. My status review did not take place until May 24 which means those 90 SCs have not been added into my tally for the current year (ie total still on 800 when it should be 710). If I contact Velocity will they likely manually change my review date in order to accommodate these 90 SCs or are they gone forever?

I would be surprised if they did not do it. You will have to call to though.

I thought I read that membership levels are reviewed and adjusted daily. If they can rectify status credits lost due to a delayed membership upgrade can they also adjust for the velocity points earned at the lower multiplier?

Yeah that is where I was coming from too. Had my status been reviewed overnight (May 20) then SCs would be credited to this year's renewal

I think it more likely they would adjust your annual tally to reflect the 'correct' amount, rather than move your review date. Worth a phone call either way.

This happened to me.
Firstly you need to ensure the flights were after 00:01am Brisbane time the day after you reached platinum(doing any necessary time conversion too).
Once you had made sure, you can call or email them.
For me they simply applied the status credits again (they didn’t move any dates or remove the previous status credits, which really isn’t needed cause you have started a new 12 month review period).

The Velocity tier bonus points do get retro-credited IIRC but that might require a call to their cc

That happened to me. I was flying a three sector flight, and the first leg was enough to tip me over onto gold. When the points appeared in my account 4 days later, I had nearly 600 points, but was still listed as having silver status. When they did the 'status review' the next day and bumped me up to gold, my account said "400 status credits to maintain gold". I emailed them and they manually deducted the status credits of two of the three flight sectors and reapplied them so that they would come after the status review. Unfortunately, the flight that tipped me over into gold was 90 status credits, and I only needed 60 to attain gold. I essentially lost those 30 credits in terms of maintaining gold status. It's odd because Velocity's website says, "as soon as your balance reaches 500 Status Credits ... you will be automatically upgraded to Gold membership." It's misleading.
