Hi,

Recently got the HSBC Star Alliance card and i'm struggling to decide if I should go with SQ*G or AC*G.

I have a SQ Y trip coming up in April so my question is are SQ*G treated better or differently over other *G's other than the free seat selection.
Unsure because the AC status will be valid until Dec 2024 and the SQ until Dec 2023 or Jan 2024. I'm going to try to hit the 60k for the years spending but I don't know if I will be able to. Currently VA SG until end of July 2023 but I will probably let this lapse as both SQ and AC are partners. I don't see myself flying on AC any time soon but I'll definitely fly SQ for at least two trips this year

Thanks for any advice and input
