I am a happy member of the Starwood privilege member, but was advised the program will be discontinued and replaced to the new localized program.
Do you have any detail on the new program for Australia?

The new program is called Star Privilege Pacific, covers Australia, New Caledonia, and Fiji.
Much the same as the old program, main privileges are 50% off dining for two people, and 10% off most accommodation rates.
Various vouchers for 50% off group dining, special rates at about 4 hotels, late check out, and one level room upgrade.
Also two free bottles of wine when dining, and a free buffet breakfast for two.
Renewal cost $309 per annum.
Unless you were planning to use the membership in Asia, similar value to previous years.
