I'm with Thai myself - not the best tbh. (SQ or LH seem to be ok...from what l've heard) I'm even thinking of switching all my INT flying to Emirates. From some articles l've read in de Spiegel, it looks like EK want to take over the world on their own. 15 A380's operational now, with another 75 on order...WTF, that's crazy.


If you choose Aegean, you get 1000 bonus miles for signing up, then you only need 19k for Star Gold (and as l mentioned in another thread - you could fly, ONE WAY in Thai, SYD-SIN-LHR in J and get STAR GOLD if crediting to Aegean)

(I was just using it as an example, how 2 sectors could get you to Star Gold. Compare that to most other Star Alliance members, which is 100k.)

Everyone gets an entry, irrespective of the number. I saw reference to that being a tiebreaker.
