Booked FRA to MXP with Lufthansa, but with their Italian regional subsidiary Air Dolomiti operating the flt under thr own code, apparently not an LH codeshare.
Just be careful to remember AD, while fully owned by LH, won’t give you any Star alliance recognition. Just been bumped from my window seat to an aisle much further down the back, and all LH Checkin and Lounge staff can say is sorry, we can’t do anything.. tail wagging the dog stuff.
Still hv lounge access, and it’s only 1h 20 flying but that’s not what I wud expect from booking under the Star alliance umbrella.
