Star alliance lounge access

I am currently with Air NZ but am wondering if its worth changing to Singapore or Thai. My main goal is lounge access - not too worried about free flights.

Is there a clear winner in terms of the quickest way to get there?

Would likely depend on the airlines you fly and the fare classes you fly in.

Avianca until recently were the best way, an alternative is to look at getting a Status match with Turkish.
