Hi, Asiana offers a 2 year period to get points to retain status. My dream/goal would be to get to *A gold. I am a KF member and unfortunately 12 months doen't give me enough time to get to the next level. I am trying to save up KF points for a Europe trip in 2019 to do the Baltic cruise. I would like to do a J class for both myself and spouse. I also have Amex points currently which can be converted either directly to KF or to other programs. I was toying with the idea of maybe starting to collect JMB miles as it uses less points to UK than SQ.
It's all very daunting with all the information/tips/tricks available. Sorry if it sounds messy but my head is spinning just thinking about it.

Thank you. My main interest is using points to buy or upgrade flights which requires status but also the ability to accumulate points when I am unlikely to fly Asiana.

I am just curious if Asiana FF is still undervalued and great value. I am merely seeking to get Star Alliance status quickly. I have flights upcoming with Lufthansa to Europe.

If you are in whY check the points earn rate on your ticket class before crediting.

I understand that there if you have Jade status with ShangriLa Golden Circle, you need 3 segments on SQ/Silkair to qualify for KF gold. It's called Infinite Journeys and this has to be done within 4 months of registration. The question is do short flights between SIN-KUL-SIN count as 2 segments?

Hmmm. Interesting. Do you have a link to the deets of this shortcut?

Thanks Iso. Unfortunately I didn't do anything to my Asiana account for almost a year now which only gives me 1 year to qualify. I think I will consider creatign a new Asiana account. Do you know if there is a way to find out how many Asiana points are earned if flying a partner airline ?

Does anyone know if this offer is restricted to just Silkair and SQ flights or is Scoot also accepted ?
