I'm trying to map out an itinerary using only *A carriers that involves an outbound flight from Sydney to Tel Aviv.

When I use the *A web site and select the Tel Aviv airport, it says that Thai Airways operates 8 flights a week. However if I then go to the Thai Airways web site there's no mention of Tel Aviv being a destination.

Am I to assume that the supposed 8 flights a week would be a Thai Air code share rather than an actual Thai flight?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the TG flights are code shares.
El-Al certainly fly that route to Bangkok. These are the *A carriers servicing Tel Aviv:

BMI
Air Canada
Austrian Airlines
Lufthansa
Swiss
US Airways
Turkish Airlines

You might have to look at an inventive routing via Istanbul.
Maybe:
Syd-BKK on TG
and
BKK-IST-Tel Aviv on Turkish Airlines

OR:

SYD-SIN-DXB-IST all on SQ
and
IST-Tel Aviv on Turkish Airlines

That's what I was thinking. The *A web site is a bit misleading in that regard.

Probably will end up looking at BKK-IST-TLV on TK. TK seem to have a fairly good schedule into TLV from IST whereas with SQ you've got to put down in DXB making it one extra stop.

The TG* operated by LY flights BKK-TLV and v.v. only appear on the Star website as they are actually permitted on Star RTW fares.
Don't do much for your earn rate unless your host FF scheme has an agreement with LY though!
