SQ's ops at MEL need a serious overhaul!

J of course...good to hear that things should be OK. Happily they have extended my PPS and I have been able to reserve my seat 11A

I went past yesterday about 2-2.5 hours prior to SQ228 departing and it was still zoo like, unfortunately. The key if you're not priority is still to get there about 60-75 minutes before departure I think. International security at MEL is very efficient now IME and the SQ lounge is hardly worth an extended stay...
