SQ to fly B787-10 to Perth From May

There is an article in AusBT with the news that SQ will fly their new B787-10 to Perth starting "sometime" in May. Singapore Airlines brings Boeing 787-10 to Perth and Perth Airport details Singapore Airlines picks Perth for new 787-10 flights

This plane features their new lie-flat regional J seats. Unfortunately there will still be no PE to Perth.

On behalf of all Perth residents let me be the first to do the obvious comparison between the QF offerings and SQ on this route . QF B737-8 4 across ( 2 - 2) J recliner seats 37 inch pitch and 22 inch width and SQ B787-10 4 across (1-2-1) lie flat seats (I can't yet find the actual dimensions). Unfortunately Y will still be the fairly standard 9 across - but it can't be any worse than QF Y.
