I feel the same way about sauce on a pie and lemon/lime wedge in a beer.

Well… they *say* some of the accompaniments can enhance the flavour, a bit like adding salt to some foods. Or sauce on a pie.

Personally I don’t find it necessary. It’d be like making a kir royale out of cristal!

But for most decent caviars, especially if you’re going to be eating beluga, you’d want to eat it plain, with nothing.

Agree re having caviar 'straight' - perhaps a few drops of lemon into the jar, and avoid the blinis unless they're fresh and hot.

A quick bit of praise while I'm here. Came back from Europe early this week, having brought fwd the return dates. So I lost my row 11 seat, instead assigned 19k for the Sin/Mel leg. Oh well, thats what happens when you change things..

I was just settling in onboard in Sin when Kelvin, cabin manager, comes up to say there has been a no-show and would I like to move forward to 11A. Yes please !

That sort of attention is why we continue flying with SQ !

Unless booked through a Travel Agent and the TA can do it, I don't think SQ can merge two PNR's together. However, if you're looking to through check bags, they can do it for you at checkin.
