Seat reservation on economy SQ (prior to check-in) is now a fee based service for most.

SQ Krisflyer site, when managing the reservation, indicates seats can be reserved paying with Krisflyer points.

Well, this is only true if your booking is directly with Sinagporeair, not other websites or agents. Hence the message is misleading.

"We wish to inform you that unfortunately, purchase of seats using Krisflyer miles is not applicable for bookings made by travel agencies. Should you wish to select your seats in advance, you may purchase using debit or credit card."

Does anyone know how many KriFlyer miles required in cash + miles for exit row seat ex-Australia? The payment required for exit row is $63.40 and you can use a mixture of cash and miles.
