Hi All,

I redeemed x2 KUL-SIN-LHR in SQ J via Aeroplan for Oct 2026, two months ago. It seemed like SQ J Availability has dropped off a cliff after. Trying to find J seat from Europe-SIN for Nov 2026 and cannot find any, after looking daily. Is it likely due to Krisflyer devaluation, or is it a pattern that has developed over the years?

Are you only looking at SQ?

TG has some good availability, although it can be patchy. And there’s Oman Air.

Aeroplan availability is a pale imitation of its former self sadly - especially with SQ
Agree United availability is an issue, but that’s affected everyone, not just Aeroplan. SQ is still there, just a bit more limited than previous. But still plenty of other options. VA to and from Doha has been added… up to four seats on every flight from major capitals. Beats SQ!

Plenty of availability for SQ via Velocity for Europe-SIN, but nothing at all via Aeroplan!
Interesting… I picked a random date… 11 Feb for travel CDG-SIN.

Velocity indeed had a seat… 90k plus $362. Aeroplan and United didnt have it.

But… clicking through, that’s only for premium economy!

I’d be interested to cross-reference with some other star programs if you have a sample date where business is available on SQ but not on aeroplan?,

SQ tends to block programs who sell miles, I’m surprised Aeroplan seemed to have generous availability for so long.

VA sells miles too? 40% bonus on now/just finished. They’ve had several this year.

Maybe it's just star alliance programs that sell miles. But then again they didn't seem to offer much in the way of J class to any star alliance partners other than Aeroplan in recent times (LH Miles & More used to be great, then they turned that tap off suddenly).

I was just reading that SQ switched to PoC earlier this year. Perhaps this is what we're now seeing them tweak around with and "optimise" now that they have PoC as a tool to control inventory.
