The extra SQ248 flights BNE-SIN on Wed, Sat, Sun definitely help. Shame that they're on 772s, but I guess flat SpaceBeds are better in Business.

From the seat maps, it looks like the SQ* 772s will be running the additional flights. F is being sold as J. :)

Seems to be only 2 seats (per flight) available in J through Krisflyer around peak Xmas time. More seats available earlier and later than the peak time, but not necessarily on SQ247/SQ248...

i wouldn't have honestly thought the demand was there to support these extra adelaide and brisbane flights. and in terms of adelaide, they're getting extra flights at this time from cathay and (i think) malaysia airlines. is there really enough demand in the catchment to sustain all these seats!?

Yeah with Qantas, Singapore, Emirates and Etihad/V Australia all flying BNE-SIN there seems like a bit of an over supply even before these extra flights were added.

The only thing I can think is that Royal Brunei are exiting from BNE at the end of October. And I guess that Singapore would be a good replacement for the passengers that would have flown with them. So SQ put some extra flights on at a holiday season and see how things go.

SQ have announced PER also getting increased services, and we wonder why our "flag" carrier is rarely seen?
