I'm trying to redeem flights for 2 pax MEL-SIN in F. The Singapore Airlines website shows availability for 2 people on the dates we need, but when I call VA they say they only have one reward seat available. Any suggestions? It would cost me a lot more points to transfer over from VA to Krisflyer to redeem them.

Thanks in advance

Krisflyer look after their own. VA are only showing you what they get. Your choice either move the points to krisflyer or fly a different class.

The other option to save some points, if you don't mind the tickets being on separate bookings is to book 1 through VA and then 1 through KF after transferring points over.

Out of interest what is the tax/surcharge booking that route through VA?
