Does anyone know of a spray/aerosol that frequent flyers can use on aircraft that will protect yourself from picking up influenza from other passengers. Parbs

In all seriousness, I carry Betadine gargle when we travel and both husband and I use it during/after flights and most evenings before bed when travelling.
It might not amount to much but I do believe its stopped cold like symptoms/sore throat before they got worse.
Actually there is a spray I have used for years with success to avoid colds etc. It is no longer available in Australia but can be purchased online cheaply from Britain. It is called Vicks First Defence. I highly recommend it. Here is a link to reviews Vicks First Defence Reviews - ProductReview.com.au

Assuming you are referring to the following product, it does not appear to be what the OP was asking about:
Vicks First Defence nasal spray
This appears to be a product to deal with a cold AFTER the symptoms develop.
Actually there is some science in itOoh well, anecdote trumps science. I'm sold.
Though I find after a while I tend to lose consciousness and.......This is how I prefer to travel
