Had the grilled pork, pics below with/without all the garnish to give an idea of the portion. The pork itself was fall-apart tender and had a soy (ish) savoury flavour.

Meat was very tender, but otherwise a pretty bland dish — saved by the accompaniments of course.

Noticed the same thing this morning - first time I’ve seen the spice bar open for breakfast. Must be new since it used to open at 12pm?

Spice bar is open at breakfast

The sausages were from the buffet, but the rest of this was from the Spice Bar

So it’s been open for breakfast from at least early February. It’s a big improvement imo. I like scrambled eggs, but I am not a fan of it on a buffet. Having it from the Spice Bar is so much better

Depends how much rum is in there. Knowing QF pours policy I'd say too full.

Is it just me, or do others also feel the soup items are always way too room temperature / cold? I like my noodle soups piping hot…

I agree, seems the sandwich toaster has been enhanced as well

Between piping hot and ready to eat warm, looks like they went for the latter. I'm guessing warming at the minimum temperature saves energy. No one needs to deal with a lawsuit for burning mouths (even if frivolous).

They should probably have different pots on for different temperatures of stock (or have piping hot and room temp stocks to mix to tailor).
