“Lionhead” meatballs which were SUPER yummie in my eyes…



Or “spicy” eggplant and wood ear mushrooms as the vegetarian option.



That second one was also super tasty- the kind of veggie meal that even a hardcore meat eater like me can enjoy. Just the “spicy”- I don’t even know why Qantas bothers to use this term. Even the piles of fresh chili had hardly any spice to it. Luckily, there’s the condiment station for some proper spicy stuff!

It to this day always amazes me, how much better the food here in Melbourne is than in Sydney or even Brisbane these days.

Damn white bread in the MEL Business Lounge was so hard tonight that I have aching upper teeth - waiting for the Panadol to hopefully work some magic!

Chicken rice...
With condiments, I didnt dare take chilli.
Ginger sauce has kick, rice fluffy would be great with if they had curry, tad salty with chicken rice sauce..
Lunch, no menu... edit: menu came put later veg option kung pao with cauliflower.
No noodles.

No down escalators as of now for either of the QFd MEL lounges.
Works on new ones soon.
Lifts or stairs to go down from lounges.
Escalators up are in operation.

OT: So, (((do we want to wager when it would be replaced/"repaired"))).
Not a good thing for those with wonky legs, to go down 3 flights of stairs, were those the ones that once went to the open deck up top, the open air part, that was a great experience.
Or having to wait for that very slow to respond lift.OT.
Oh, re: the chilli, I see it has got seeds, so for those who love the the hot, is is that Kick(y), and for those who dont like the chilli, is it scary just to see it?
Might try it, (the chilli that is), in Jul, when I might do another Bid Now upgrade, ...
