SPG Gold - Breakfast included?

I have SPG Gold status, and thanks to the Marriott tie up, have the equivalent with them.

I have a night near LAX and am tossing up between the Marriott and the Sheraton Gateway, noting that Marriott Gold includes "Lounge Access/Free Breakfast". I can't see that specific benefit on the SPG Gold Benefits page.

What are peoples experiences with snaring a free breakkie with SPG Gold?

It's not a specific benefit of SPG Gold. I've never got one....

If you want the benefit then book Marriott.

Choose the Sheraton Gateway and ask them for a room overlooking LAX runway, perfect view of the planes' take off and landing every 3 minutes

Then in the AM go downstairs to Starbucks for a coffee and muffin, and consider whether you would have preferred a free breakfast (I prefer the view)
