I barely use Fly Buys so do not follow all the promos sadly. Those here will know I am sure. :)

But am I reading it correct that spending $100 a time at Bunnings using my FlyBuys card which is linked to Velocity, gets one SC per $100 spent?

Doing some extensive renos here, so down there each few days.

If I spend $500 a time is that 5 x SC? And is there some SC earning cap per day/week/month/year etc that I need to work around?

Thanks in advance.

I imagine the rules will be similar to Coles regarding limits. I have been getting emails but do not read them other than the title so time to do some research then.

If you’re doing a big reno, you’re probably better off getting a PowerPass card and taking the 5% off over the flybuys points.

I haven't seen anything about earning SC through Bunnings.

Gotcha .. felt sure I'd seen that in the blurb somewhere, and just assumed it was a similar deal to Coles, and the Liquor outlets etc.

Odd it is not on similar terms. Especially considering using the Power Pass is a straight 5% cash discount lost to Bunnings (it is Power Pass OR Fly buys, not both) and you can bet they do not pay that much to Virgin!

As others have mentioned, no SC earn from Bunnings, but if they (Bunnings) are smart, they will start to do this.
But who knows, maybe later on they will.
Now you can earn FB with Bunnings Online and Bunnings Marketplace orders. Maybe more to see on a Bunnings Catalogue.

The best way to get SCs on your Bunnings spend is to buy a GC at Coles. This should earn you 1SC per $100 spent plus FB points on the purchase. Then use that GC at Bunnings which will earn FB points again. SC earn is capped at 10SC per month.

No SC's on gift card purchases....

From this page...

Fairly confident you don't get SC's on gift card purchases....

I don't remember where I read it - but pretty sure I did!

Happy to be corrected however as I purchased a coughload of Apple GC's recently!
You did used to get SCs on Bunnings ones but possible it's been enhanced

I haven't bought any this year but certainly last year you did. You certainly don't if you buy a Coles GC from Coles but my experience is that other GCs give you the SCs.

Interesting. No-one has bought one recently?

Seems like a possible pathway to 120 SC a year. :D
