Talk about over selling a flight.;)

I am sure however it is just a glitch in the system.

Well it is either the new secret triple decker Airbus 488, or you are in the baggage compartment. :p (Could be a glitch I suppose, but that would be too boring!)

I stopped caring about them when I got "1" and didn’t get upgraded :p

I receive a sequence number of 1 often. Never had any correlation with op ups. In fact the one time I have been op-uped SYD-MEL I think I had sequence number 2 or 3.

Well strangely when I went to board I found that my boarding pass would not scan and for the first time since joining in 1998 I was upgrade to business class (without requesting it and using points), though I don't think the strange sequence number helped. The plane did seem to have a very large party of school children which may have helped.

My boarding pass for tomorrow has a sequence number of 691 and I think it is a 767.

probably just a glitch. I checked-in last week for a flight only to discover that there was absolutely no "service information" detail on my boarding pass - ie: no "FF PLATINUM ONEWORLD E QF#######"

This was despite having the booking appear in "My Bookings" under my FF number. Go figure!!

BTW, the same thing occured to my work collegue on the flight even tho we had seperate bookings. Ghost in the machine perhaps?
