Just had an e-mail notification that Sofitel Noosa is to become Elysium Noosa Resort from December 2025. It will remain in the Accor system thankfully, but under the MGallery brand. It's said to be the sister property to the Manly Pacific Hotel (also MGallery). Renovation looks very nice; hope it holds up - it was due.

New website (limited in detail at the moment) here: Elysium Noosa — Coming Summer 2025

Cheers,
Matt.

Pity about the name, it will cause some confusion in noosa

Great location and that is really the only thing it survives on - otherwise middling service and dark rooms. The hotel has had more changes of names than a drug dealer's change of phone numbers ;)

Not had either of those issues on my stays; quite the opposite, in fact. Noted I only book suites, so probably helps 😎
