So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

The VW brand took quite a hit when they were importing Golf's from memory out of South Africa before resuming production from Germany in 2010.
Wife and I before recently getting the NX and Q5, owned three Passats and a Golf and they never missed a trick. Office staff are all under 30 have happily got into either Golf Comfortlines or GTi Performance and are converts to German made cars.
 
I have a 2014 Toyota Aurion, very smooth, roomy, good economy and comfortable, but perhaps a little boring for some. I do like the $130 capped price servicing though. So far no problems with my limo.
 
FWIW I had a VW Polo Gti for 5 years that had a little bit of work done to it and no issues, we also have a A3 in the family, again no issues.

Spent the past 3 weeks in Ho Chi Minh City riding a motorbike for work.. came back to drive my ute and it was quite the change!

Looking at BMW M135i later this year hopefully...
 
Just updated the Kluger, looked at a few things but thought why not, get a last of the Aussies.

Now have a Territory Titanium diesel, I have to say it's better than expected and I enjoy being behind the wheel. There is little turbo lag at take off (was my biggest fear) and once over the 20 km/h mark it can pull hard.

Hassles might have been the wrong word. It was a great thing to drive...but I'd want something a bit less frenetic to go and get the milk. Same as the R8. I loved it, but I would have bought a TTRS in preference. Too much of a good thing perhaps.
 
Picked up a m135i bmw approx 3 weeks ago.

Really happy and goes well.

In true AFF tradition...I was away while it was delivered!
 
Love the 135i great car now a tale of absolute misery Re BMW's I have an M4 my better half a 435i convertible. We went snowboarding in Japan over Xmas for about 10 days left the cars in our garage. When we came home both cars where giving out weird dashboard alerts. To cut a long story short both cars had rodent damage $18000 worth between the 2, 3 weeks for parts & total replacement of all wiring harnesses in mine.
Holy moly disappointed would be an understatement it's not like we live on a farm :(
