This might be useful for some, but there are a lot of sweeping unverifiable marketing statements in the press release, like

“I think that being associated with Qantas Frequent Flyer absolutely gives us a competitive edge when you consider the high value that Australians place on collecting Qantas Points – and why wouldn’t they?"

An earn rate of 100 points per month sounds a tad paltry to me though for existing members I suppose it's something for nothing. I am not into gyms and this offer would not tempt me, sorry.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Competitive edge? Surely the quality of the gym would be the competitive edge! Nope won't be joining snap fitness lol! I'm hoping Fitness First is the second health brand brought on board :D

Excellent, have been looking to switch gyms for a while now and a new Snap Fitness has just opened up around the corner. Perfect timing QF :)

The bonus might do it for me, depending on the cost, but like you I'm not a gym person.

Funny thing is, by using my finger to click my way through Qantas Toolbar searches I can earn 150 points/month... essentially validating that being lazy is the more lucrative option ;)

I went to sign up to Snap Fitness a few years ago. All was going well and the lady was recording my details on an application form which they 'kept of file for reference'. Then she asked for my cc details, including the verification code which she was going to write on the form. I said that I didn't want the verification code written on her file form (for what I hope was an obvious reason).

She insisted - so end of application. Hopefully they are more professionally set up now.

I'm looking into making the switch over to Snap fitness myself as the rates for pretty much most of these type of compact 24/7 gyms is pretty much the same which ever chain one choose's.

So to earn some QFF points on the side is a nice bonus.

From what I can gather from the Snap fitness website, they have a good presence in some metropolitan areas, but lacking in other areas particularly regional centres.
I see that Snap does have a solid presence in NZ and they appear to be building up a presence in the UK.

That irony is hilarious.

Went for a tour this morning. Beats my old gym hands down so have signed up! Now to make sure I look fantastic by the time I next fly ;)
