Hi All,
It has been a consistant issue this year for me regarding slow posting of status credits from British Airways and Iberia.
I now have 7 Active Claims awaiting processing from flights in March & April.
I had 2 flights last year in November that were only credited in February after originally being denied.
Does anyone know if QF is aware of this issue and is there a specific contact that we can contact to resolve this issue?
Thanks

There is definitely an issue, Mrs sudoer has four JL flights outstanding from Mar/Apr which have not credited. Missing points claims were lodged 15 days ago and supposed to have been processed by today but they are still "under review".

It would be really useful for anyone else waiting on points/SC to add data points in this thread to find the pattern, and then perhaps @AFF Editor can reach out to Qantas?

I had a BA flight (LHR-SIN) in the last couple of weeks - credited within a couple of days. AA on the other hand ......

I think your issue wtih AA was an exception.

I fly with AA all the time and they have always credited quickly - usually next day. AS is a bit slower. Both are quicker than JQ.

Any rough timeframe for AS? I flew both in April and whilst the AA came through within a couple of days, the AS flight is still nowhere to be seen.

About a week. It looks like they might be done in batches as all mine came through on the same day despite being a few days apart.

Also I was just thinking, all of these AA and AS flights I took were booked directly with those airlines - I'm not sure if being on a QF / RTW ticket issued by another airline makes things slow down at all? I wouldn't think so.

The JL flights I mentioned above were booked directly with JL so I don't think it should make any difference.

Well I'm at 4 weeks now waiting for JQ, so clearly not!

I was referring to AA/AS specifically.

Whilst I am still waiting for the 7 flights to be credited I was just credited a BA flight from Friday 06/05/22.
🤦‍♂️

Update…..Still waiting 🤦‍♂️

Contacted QFF, and recieved a request for BP’s and E-tickets

Interestingly part of the response stated the following:

“As we’re unable to access the confidential flight records of our partner airlines, please email us a copy of:”

Another data point: flew SIN-DOH-JNB on QR in J last month, actually still considering whether I should do a trip report, I took plenty of photos. The flights back (May 20) credited whilst I was still on the plane so no issues there, I lodged a missing points claim for the flights to South Africa, flown on May 12. The next day, that claim was rejected, due to 'points already awarded to qantas or other frequent flyer program', which of course is not true.

I was asked to email copies of the boarding pass, which I did about a week ago, no movement since.

Yet if they go to the https://www.qantas.com/gb/en/manage-booking.html page of their own website and enter the six character booking reference and surname it will bring up those details, or at least it does when I try it on one of my old British Airways bookings.

Expanding the flight details from this page by clicking the drop down arrow even shows the booking class letter (e.g. N) which as far as I recall doesn't show on the British Airways e-ticket.

Its almost beyond a joke.
7 Flight Claims (first raised 22/03/22, last 03/05/22)
Contacted Qantas via Website and responded to requests for BP's & Electronic Tickets

Has anyone had any luck calling regarding missing Status Credits?

Yes, call up and select the option for Frequent Flyer membership enquiries. I believe they are only open weekdays 9am-7pm (or thereabouts)

Am in the US at the moment flitting about from place to place. Three flights on American posted within a couple of days. A flight on Alaska, taken before the three AA flights, has yet to be posted. Have another two AS flights coming up, so will see when the three Alaska ones post. Two of the Alaska flights are marketed by AS but operated by Skywest - not sure if that'll make a difference.

Does anyone have the overseas number for the Qantas Frequent Flyer Centre?
