I still have flights from February that haven't credited. Have approached them a number of times with no real response. Until they are credited am not travelling with Virgin, have spoken to them and they have really just fobbed me off.

Well I did a retro claim it took 5 days correct SCs wrong points only credited taxes and not fare paid. Rang platinum line said would take up to 14 working days given Easter in the middle that's a month.

It took about 2 weeks for my recent flights to post to family pooling. That was with the Easter break in the middle tho.

OK cheers. I should be only 100 SCs to Plat but I want to control when I go to WP so I can maximize the benefit :D

I'm not sure "control" is an appropriate word. I'm still waiting for a flt to credit (normal saver, paid with CC) that I took on 19 Mar. Family pooling Scs for me seem to be coming in quicker than my own for the very same flights. If you can work that out, maybe you deseve to be given "control".

my family pooling got credited the following day as wel as my SC and points!

Well after 3 months my actual VA marketed VX operated DFW>LAX has finally posted to my account with 15 SC & a total 1545 points . VA had previous done a manual adjustment ( 15 SC & 618 points) back in mid April after multiple email, call follow ups / retro claims from me . These were reversed out at the same time as the correct SC & Pts posted on the 22nd May. Overall net gain of 927 bonus points which I had not received with the manual adjustment . Will make me think twice before I use VX again if this is how long it takes for SC & Pts to post.

Just submitted my retro claim for VA marketed / DL operated flight (LAX>SLC) back on 3rd Feb that hasnt' been credited . Have been credited with all my VA & DL flights from my trip very promptly , some within 24 hours. . I still have a VA marketed VX operated flight to credit from 19th Feb ( DFW>LAX) but will give it another week or so before submitting a claim.

It's been almost 2 months now since we submitted the photos of the boarding passes and luggage receipts and still no SCs credited. :/

The thing that's really frustrating is that the manifest and all the documentation from the flight, that Velocity surely should have access to is going to show that the flight was boarded with the passenger on board. Why they need photos of paper is baffling.

This is a seriously broken system.

Family pooling should be as fast as a normal credit

MEL-PER Saturday arrived Monday for me, mrsdocs should be rolled to me but has still not arrived.

Pooling unlinked on Sunday

PER-MEL both arrived overnight.

Have points for a trip to NZ on April 15 that are yet to post despite 2 times claiming through website, and once claiming through retro claims. Almost now despairing if I will ever get them without going to a real effort. Flying next week to NZ again, and anticipating the pain again! Give me Qantas anytime! at least I fly and then receive points.

If you flew Virgin you would also receive points. Getting points from Qantas's partners can be just as painful

I have some missing still from March 8 ... waiting for the six weeks since I did the 'retro' on April 26th.

Just a question to serfty and others, how much time are you wasting on trying to claim for flights. An answer to Major, I did fly Virgin to New Zealand!

I thought you were on Air NZ metal. I received points for a VA codeshare on Air NZ metal on 22 May for a 1 Feb flight to AKL. Only made 1 retro claim and forgot about it.
Agree it is very very slow

Total wasted time, around 20 minutes ... mind you, that with an online claim followed by the 'retro' email.

I daresay ther'll be a bigger exertion coming up mid June ...

Ducking for cover after posting this one here ;)

I must have a points angel somewhere that makes sure my VA points (and my JQ points to QF post within a day)
