Slight change to Qantas F Amenity Kit Design?

Anyone notice a slight change to the SKII amenity kit in F? The old one had the two zippers on the inside, creating two separate compartments. This has now changed to a single zip (and hence single compartment) and a zip on the outside. The bag is also slightly narrower but significantly taller.

On the ground I use to like the left hand side for storing pencils and the right for pens - this is no longer possible - so thanks for nothing Joyce! :)

Having just looked at the F case on my desk I too like the two compartments and am disappointed that it has apparently been changed. On my next F flight (soon) I'll ask why the change.

Unless of course a fellow AFFer asks and posts the answer.

We all need to help QF get back into the black (financially).
But they will say its due to customer feedback.
The single zippered one, seems a few mm longer, can it be possible to put it side to side?
Longer might be a tad better...

There is only one simple rational logical reason for this change

It has Been ENHANCED to Make it SIMPLER and FAIRER LOL

Its (giggly) where you put your toothbrush, floss, and stuff.
When you first get it, probably its full of QF's stuff, but then as a replacement, after you use it up, esp on flights where there is no F (dom esp), you can replenish with stuff from DJs if you are $$$ or from Coles/Woolies if you don't have a lot of $$$.
Just as a thought, for those non WP/WP1s among us, and those that don't fly F all the time, (but have once to get the bag in the first place), but then more so fly discY, Y, flexY or J overseas, what about the clear bag LAG rule/laws and the wash bag?
Do you put the wash bag empty in your hold lugaage and then transfer items from LAG compliant bag to wash bag on arrival?
Or will the wash bag fit into an LAG compliant clear plastic bag?
OR amenity kit to be pedant.

New one (at back) is slightly less wide but taller.

I just hope they've added a lip balm. The Payot range had a fantastic one, the SK11 has nothing. I had to get a FA to raid a business class amenity kit so I had one :-(
I'll be back on board in 3 weeks but will make sure to pack my own. Just a small complaint by why should F kit suddenly not have them and J does?

Just trying to be helpful here, but as a WP who never sees the light of international F, J or Y+, I would be happy to take care of the crappy new single-zip packs for you.

Think of it as free disposal - and you'll no longer be bothered by 'enhanced' accessories! The nerve!

*all sarcasm* except for the offer to take it off your hands!

Agree with the lipbalm comment. It's about the only thing I ever use from those amenity kits. Wouldn't have a clue what to do with a facial cleanser or toner :)

Our next F trip is not until April/May, but I promise I will take one of Mr FM's away from him and bring it back for you unopened!

They're probably doing a refresh.. I noticed slightly different coloured bags for the J ones as well...
Are the contents the same?

I thought the contents were changing to Aurora Spa for J. Not sure about F.

I have left these on the plane. Why would I want to schlep around a giant empty bag when travelling. as for the contents, ho-hum and it's about time they included a decent toothbrush in these things.
