image.jpgHi guys looks like we will be going for this lot if flights, it's plated to klm so will be skytrax
is there anyway we can do anything with these points, move em across to anything else etc ?
Have Qantas, virgin & avianca memberships.
The price is insane like $1364 in y (yuk) but this close to Xmas we better not shell out on J . we only have 80k points Qantas couple 1( bronze ) and & 900k velocity (gold)and the 2nd couple barely any velocity 10k(platinum) and 50k Qantas (silver) just dropped down- we know we not using the points to the best of their ability
Can anyone suggest a better way for minimal $$
thank you so much for any help xx

I ended up with small amounts of flying blue and Alitalia points flying skyteam out of necessity. Lost my flying blue points and haven't found what to do with the Alitalia points.

Alitalia status matched my QF gold a while back, which gave lounge access, premium check in and additional baggage with Garuda and Vietnam airlines. Look to see if any skyteam will match your VA gold.

Good idea, will look into that- we might be using aerolines argentinas in 2018 but other than that can't imagine - poss Alitalia next year but unlikely as we are looking at doing bristol to Milan so unless we go the London we screwed - maybe might need to look at a more expensive fare that will give us more options to get points - need to build up the Qf ones really but that flight config was $2600 so literally doiuble

Considering your sizeable Velocity points stash, I'd be using some of them to get yourself to Asia, and then booking the return trip from there as it'll be cheaper. Sorry can't really help more on specifics, but if you've got close to 1 million points, a few Asia returns wont hurt from Perth.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

will have a look- there are no VA reward flights am I better off redeeming those for KrisFlyer?
