I've been thinking about a trip to SIN with the family and wanted to know if people have any experiences getting too or from the airport with kids requiring child seats (2)? On my own I would normally just go a cab or 'limo' but my wife (and I) are pretty hard line on ensuring our kids are safely restrained.

Happy to go public transport once settled at the hotel.

Thoughts?

I went to SIN (and KUL) with a 6 month old in June and I didn't see any cabs with baby/kids seats in them. We just held our son in the back seat. SIN driver particularly was very safe. I don't think there should be an issue.

There is always the MRT.You need to change at Tanah Merah(EW4) and probably one more change depending on hotels. But it is clean with frequent services and good access to stations as well as being the cheapest option.

Living in Singapore I constantly see children unrestrained in taxis....not a good thing. Here's a link to a limousine service you might like to use just for your airport-city-airport trips. Public transport here is excellent.

Thanks for that. I normally use these guys Singapore Limousine Transport | Singapore Limo Transfer Services | Singapore Limousine Transport. Looks like it would be a minivan for 4 people. My wife will miss the E Class..
