Finding this thread most useful as we are also going to Singapore in September.

What are the best/cheapest bottle shops to buy some Champagne? Just want to see if the champagne is cheaper than Dan Murphys to consume a few high priced ones while there!

Considering alcohol excise is 2nd highest in the world (after ?Norway?), I don't think you'll find any cheap champagne. Buy some from Dans and bring it over, making sure to keep under the duty free limits.

thanks erry1 for replies. it looks like Mrs BJ has decided on The Fairmont Hotel - one of the fancier rooms of course. seems like a solid location. some of the places mentioned I saw on the one day that I spent there a while ago.
