Hi,

Travelling to Thailand soon on QF to Singapore then Bangkok airlines to Koh Samui.

All on one booking number, and so Bangkok airlines flights have QF numbers.

My question is ( I’m QF platinum ).... will I get lounge access in Singapore prior to Bangkok airlines flight?

Thanks in advance

TQ

I would have thought yes, but it seems not, unless you're in business.

Next onward flight must be on a Qantas^, Emirates^, Jetstar Airlines+ or oneworld operated and marketed flight.#

Lounge Locations | Singapore Changi International Airport | The Qantas Singapore Lounge

That's very interesting! As usual, it's worded in a way that's possibly ambiguous. Though it does say for Qantas Club:
Next onward flight that day must be a Qantas^, or Jetstar Airlines+flight number.

So perhaps access should be granted based on that? And I notice the conditions are basically the same for the Melbourne Business lounge. I wonder if this has been reworded recently?

Yes you will get access on a qf flight number flying bangkok air and I have done this myself in the past.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply.

Exactly what I thought....that it may depend on how they interpret the rules.

TQ

It's pretty clear cut and well known by the lounge staff you won't have a problem.

It's been policy for a long time that qf codeshare flights are eligible for qf operated lounge access even when in economy. However as PG is not oneworld it will bout have your status on the boarding pass so having your card handy will help.
