Singapore KrisFlyer status match

thanks for the information provided from this thread, i'm QF platinum, and reached out via online chat to SQ this morning. Less than 2 hours, received the email from KF with the form to fill, which seems like still the same form comparing to 2 years ago. Filled the form, replied together with qf card and activity pdfs, let's see how long this process will take.

Sent mine Wednesday 24th, no response yet.

same for me. i got the approval email this morning, and account now is in gold until oct/26.
one thing i immediately noticed is about the benefits for seat selection, that with qf, if you are gold/platinum, you can select seats for free for all your family under the same booking. in the case of sq, on an economy booking, i can only get myself free for those forward economy seats, but other family member under the same booking still have to pay.

I wonder if you'd be able to call up and have the group moved forward together without charge? I found SQ to be very accommodating towards status pax and premium cabin travellers in the past, but it's been a some time since I've flown with them, so maybe that's changed

I guess I’m not too concerned about forward or not for an economy booking, ultimately they are the same sad seat :(
