Has any-one used the Singapore Qantas early check in of late?

Our Corp travel agent put my flight on 2 tickets so I have to go and get bags between flights...joy

I'm a little confused, the Qantas site says that early check in is open from 10am -> 3:30 pm, however this page is 3 years old...

the current Changi page says it is open for checkin 12 hours prior to departure from 6am onwards. this page is "meant" to be up to date.

Is any sure which is the case?

I get in at 6am with a 19:45 departure

I want to book the transit hotel as last time they were all full and the 7:45 check in would work perfect.

land at 6 am, get back have osme breakfast, check in at 7:45 am, though customs check into the transit hotel at 9am, smash 6 hours sleep ready for the lounge at 3 pm.

sorted.

I used the early check in in Changi last year. was told to go to a specific counter. No waiting. the bad news is that early check-in is from 10 am.

You can use the transfer counters at Transfer C if connecting flight that evening is a Qantas flight. Hand over passport and luggage receipt and they will issue boarding pass and manually re-tag the luggage to connecting flight.

You won't need to clear immigration so book your transit hotel for 6+ hours and then head to the lounge before your flight.

It really is very simple. I have used them many times. Only last week I arrived on QF5 late evening and departed on 3K early morning and went to transfer counter to check-in for 3K flight and luggage was manually re-tagged.

I'm Coming from a SG flight in a different terminal anyhow.

don't want to risk getting there then saying no having to get back and find luggage after they removed it at the end.

going to book the transit hotel for 10:30 try get ticket as early as I can and talk my way into a room, (else have an overpriced beer whilst I wait)

would be much easier if crown plaza there did day stays, but that would make life easier.

As I recall, they charge for this...
No charge for me.

You will not have issue. I have come off TG, SQ flights and connected to QF flight from T1. Just go to right transfer desk and they will collect luggage manually and re-tag.

I used the Qantas early check-in successfully at Singapore Changi on Sunday night just gone. The departures board directed me there because check-in hadn't opened yet for my flight (it was four hours before departure). It was a very pleasant experience, truth be told! ;)
