Singapore Airlines upgrade offer at online check-in

I'm flying Singapore Airlines tomorrow from HKT to SIN. During online check-in, I received this offer to purchase an upgrade to business class:



The price works out to be just over $600 to upgrade to J. It's a 2-hour flight so not worth it at all, but found it interesting to be at least given the option.

I didn't look, sorry. But I think the offer was only available before completing online checkin.

I received a similar offer earlier in the year, I think from SIN-BKK. Similarly didn't take them up on it due to being a short flight, but interesting to see another post about it.
